Yuyang is an economist working on a wide range of projects across international trade, emerging agricultural commodities, adaptivity to climate change, and emerging technologies such as electric vehicles and quantum technologies.
Yuyang also provides desktop research and develops cost-benefit analyses for R&D impact evaluations across various domains encompassing emergency animal diseases, emerging technologies, biosecurity, bushfire risk management, and biotechnology in animal and crop breeding.
Yuyang is proficient in using a variety of statistical tools including Excel, Stata and R. This toolkit assists efficiently to establish databases, carry out complicated tests, summarise data and visualize statistical models, delivering sophisticated theories and models in a simple way for different context.
Yuyang holds a master of economic policy and a Bachelor of Economics from the Australian National University. Her thesis investigated international case studies on the linkage between petrol prices and drivers’ behaviours.
