Ben is an economist who provides robust, evidence-backed policy recommendations and reviews for clients across infrastructure, transport, water, waste, education and health sectors. Leaning on his training in mathematics, Ben specialises in comprehensive economic model development and statistical analysis.

Using his expertise in excel and VBA, Ben has crafted models of local water utility costs, optimal waste collection vehicle movement patterns and environmental impacts of urban growth among many others. He collects, cleans and analyses data, consults with industry experts and clearly presents results.

Ben obtained his economics honours degree with first class from the University of Sydney. His honours project analysing the efficiency of university timetable algorithms helped him develop a keen interest in the application of microeconomic and econometric thought to unconventional markets.
