Our capability centres around the design, customisation and employment of sophisticated economic models including general equilibrium models. We provide incisive commentary on structural change and globalisation; we work with complex data sets and analyse them in coherent and consistent ways. Our experience includes:

  • Developing frameworks for establishing industry strategic plans

  • Conducting impact evaluations of industry investments through cost benefit analysis

  • Forecasting demand and supply in agricultural markets

  • Evaluating the impacts of shifts in international policy (trade reforms, biofuels policy) and domestic reforms (tax and subsidies)

  • Advising on response to emerging threats (climate change, biosecurity risks) and opportunities (innovation, R&D)

  • Supporting infrastructure planning for regional development by providing strategic inputs
