The CIE has had a long term focus on the benefits of regulatory reform. The CIE’s work recently featured in a White Paper prepared by the NSW Productivity Commission.

On May 31 the Commission released a comprehensive review of 60 opportunities to drive productivity growth and reboot the NSW economy. This report was based on a wide variety of detailed analyses including the CIE’s work on:

■      Land reform

■     Electronic lodgement services

■      Apartment design standards

■      Drone regulation in agriculture, and

■      Regulation of personal mobility devices
